Empowered Jesus Girl Teen Conference 2026

This event is for teen girls 5th – 12th grade. Youth Leaders and families are encouraged to join us as we pray in the new year together!
On Friday, February 27th, 2026 from 6pm-8:30pm, Grace in the Wilderness will be hosting the Empowered Jesus Girl Teen Conference at East Pickens Baptist Church. It is an evening designed to inspire and equip girls in 5th grade and up to pursue the life God has set before them with courage, purpose, and joy. This year, we are honored to welcome Ciara Dierking as our guest speaker. Ciara is a quad amputee following a sudden illness in 2023, yet her story is one of incredible strength, faith, and unwavering hope. She is a devoted mother of two boys, a talented artist, and a living testimony of God’s sustaining grace through hardship. Her message encourages girls to trust the Lord boldly, even when life takes unexpected turns. Formerly, a quiet and reserved person, Ciara now uses her story to speak candidly about suffering and finding purpose after life-altering loss. Her story encourages girls of every age. This event is for girls 5th grade & up. The event cost is $5 per participant so we can bless Ciara and her family with medical and ministry support. (If financial hardship is a concern, scholarships are available. We never want cost to prevent a girl from attending.) Ciara will also have t shirts / hoodies / artwork available for purchase from her Always Grateful Threads Ministry. You can view the shirts and Ciara’s story at AlwaysGratefulThreads.com.
Join us as we gather to celebrate the purpose God has for each girl! We’ll kick off the night with food, fellowship, and photo booths, then move into praise and worship, followed by an impactful testimony from Ciara Dierking. Here are a few clarifications to help everyone prepare:
1️⃣ Why is the conference for 5th & up?
Empowered Jesus Girl is designed specifically as a teen conference. At times, mature or sensitive topics may come up, so we encourage leaders to bring girls who are in 5th grade (around age 10) and older.
2️⃣ Can women’s groups attend this event?
We love the support from women of all ages! However, this event is geared toward young women ages 10–20, and the topics will be designed for middle & high school students.
We will host additional women’s events throughout the year and will share those as they come.
If you are a mother, grandmother, aunt, or youth leader of a teen girl, you are encouraged to attend with her—and bring friends!
3️⃣ What’s the schedule like for the night?
🍽 6:00–6:45 PM – Dinner & fun photo booths in the gym
🙌 7:00–8:30 PM – Service in the sanctuary (Praise & Worship + Bible Study w/Ciara Dierking & Other Guest Speakers)
If you’re not coming for dinner, please select that option on the registration form and arrive by 6:45 PM.
