Who am I?
My journey to ministry began before I was even born. God had a plan for my life that I couldn’t see or even imagine in my mind. My parents didn’t know, and probably would not have believed that one day I would be serving God by teaching teen girls about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was your typical teenager, dramatic and rebellious, boy crazy and in love, hormonal and struggling to keep my head up in a overly materialistic world. I was playing church every service, pretending to be someone I was not, avoiding God’s will because I was not ready for what He had in store for me. I was lost. It took a long time and several lessons learned for me to open my eyes to what God had in store for my life. I’m still a work in progress but God is using me to share His light with this world. I thank Him every day that I’m not who I used to be. I’ll share my testimony in future articles, but for now you can know that I am blessed to be a child of God. I’m a mother of two young boys, Carson is 3 years old and Asher is 9 months old. My husband, Dustin and I work with the Youth at Crosswell First Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. I’ve also worked with the GA girls and Youth at Elljean Baptist and the Youth at Griffin Baptist Church. My mission in life is to share God’s Word, make disciples, and be a Light in this dark world. I am working to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus Christ wherever I go. I’m not professional by any means, but I am saved by the Grace of God!
I look forward to getting to know you all and growing in His Grace every day.
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who lives, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” Galatians 2:20
